On the 14th, the Department of Life Science at the National Gunsan University conducted a summer vacation experiential learning program with elementary school students from Gimje City by visiting the National Weather Science Museum.

This program provided a hands-on experience for the students to learn about the knowledge found in textbooks related to meteorology, astronomy, and the solar system. The children felt the joy of science with curious eyes full of interest.

An official from the National Gunsan University stated, "I feel the most rewarded when I see children enjoying and questioning science like today," and added, "We will continue to develop programs so that more children can experience the joy of science."

Furthermore, this program is supported by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science & Creativity, operated through the Science and Technology Promotion Fund and lottery funds, contributing not only to the advancement of science and technology but also to the welfare improvement of low-income and marginalized groups.
