The Sanhak Collaboration Division of Chonbuk University, the Jeonbuk Regional Support Team for Local Children's Centers (led by Director Choi Hyeon-young), held a cultural interpretation exchange exploration camp from the 12th to the 14th to provide cultural experience and career exploration opportunities for multicultural children in the region. This camp was part of the multicultural children support project 'Our Village Cultural Bridge (Connecting Cultures)' sponsored by the Social Welfare Community Chest of Korea through LG's designated donation.

Children and staff from five key regional children's centers in Gunsan, Iksan, Namwon, Jangsu, and Jeongeup participated in activities such as exploring world natural heritage sites, cultural fusion talk concerts, cultural interpretation practice, and multicultural leadership games. The children had the opportunity to experience the role of cultural interpreters, develop leadership and expressive skills, and learn about the value of inclusivity by sharing their cultural backgrounds and experiences during the cultural fusion talk concert.

The participating children shared their impressions, saying, "It felt like being a cultural interpreter while explaining things directly." Director Choi Hyeon-young stated, "We will continue to collaborate with the local community to support multicultural children to grow as social assets."

Meanwhile, the Jeonbuk Regional Support Team supports 287 local children's centers in Jeonbuk with education, consulting, evaluation, and operates various specialized programs through the Social Welfare Community Chest of Korea.
