The Wanju County Education Integrated Support Center, led by Director Lim Sung-hee, launched the '2025 New Sports Coach Capacity Enhancement Support Project' for 15 sports area village instructors at the Family Hall on the 2nd floor of the Wanju Family Culture Education Center on the 23rd.
This project, which will run from August to September, aims to enhance the understanding and execution capabilities of physical education content among village instructors, strengthen their ability to plan rhythmic activities tailored to participants, and boost their confidence in teaching through healthy physical activities.
The main programs include improving rhythm and physical coordination (movement training combining music and actions), cultivating the ability to design tailored classes based on age and level, enhancing instructors' confidence and expressive skills, expanding the foundation for healthy community programs, and strengthening the capacity to operate creative physical activities that combine new sports and rhythmic activities.
In particular, the instructors will design and structure educational content through hands-on experiences and practical training, develop programs that integrate various new sports equipment and musical elements, and plan to gradually expand and operate them for elementary, middle, and high school students in Wanju in the future.
The center expressed hope that through this project, village instructors will be able to operate more confident and creative sports classes.
Meanwhile, the New Sports Coach Capacity Enhancement Support Project is operated as part of the Wanju County Education Development Special Zone Project.
