The '2025 Jeonju International Hanji Industry Expo' will be held for three days from October 2nd to 4th in Jeonju, the home of thousand-year-old hanji.

The Jeonju Cultural Foundation (CEO Choi Rak-gi) will unveil the poster and slogan for the Jeonju International Hanji Industry Expo, which will take place at the Korea Traditional Culture Center from the 2nd to the 4th of next month, and will actively promote the festival.

This year's festival slogan is 'This is Hanji,' conveying a message to explore the unlimited uses of hanji in daily life and feel hanji with your fingertips.

The poster prominently displays the slogan to strongly reveal the festival's identity, expressing the flexibility, infinite expansiveness, and liveliness of hanji through curved and free graphics. It also includes a message hoping for the global spread of hanji as a traditional culture by combining Korean and English.

In its 29th year, the festival will showcase programs such as the Hanji Yard (Hanji sports competition, etc.), the 31st National Hanji Craft Competition award-winning works exhibition, an invited artist exhibition, and the 5th National Children's Hanji Art Competition award-winning works exhibition.

Especially during the festival opening ceremony, there will be a performance to wish for the UNESCO inscription of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, along with a hanji fashion show where citizens can see hanji costumes designed by fashion designers at a glance.
