The Jeonbuk Provincial Office of Education announced on the 4th that a total of 1,994 people participated in the citizen participation budget opinion collection conducted from June 25 to August 22. The opinion collection was conducted through surveys and submission of opinions, with a total of 294 opinions received on topics such as career education, arts education, and academic improvement. The Jeonbuk Provincial Office of Education plans to incorporate these opinions into the budget after review by the relevant departments.

According to the survey results, residents identified areas needing expanded support as academic improvement (28.5%), safe schools (27.9%), and responsible education (10.4%). Among the top 10 key tasks, there was a high preference for humanities education through reading (28.4%), classroom innovation (27.9%), and strengthening curriculum and learning (13.3%).

Furthermore, specific priority tasks selected included concept-based inquiry classes, career mentoring, eco-transition education, and strengthening the school's response system to complaints. High interest in career education, physical education, and foreign language education was also evident in student surveys.

The Jeonbuk Provincial Office of Education aims to enhance the fairness of the budget and the effectiveness of educational policies through public participation. Director Lee Sang-gon stated, "We will strengthen the budget for humanities reading, classroom innovation, and career and physical education fields by reflecting on-site opinions."
