The Jeonbuk Western Cultural Heritage Care Center operated by the Industry-Academia Cooperation Division of Jeonbuk University (Director Nam Hae-kyung) recently conducted safety and health experiential education for on-site workers at the Iksan Safety Experience Education Center.

This education was designed to prevent accidents and raise awareness of safety among workers in various on-site activities due to the nature of cultural heritage care projects. The education took place in six experiential halls including construction, manufacturing, electrical, smart technology, virtual reality, and emergency response. Participants had the opportunity to virtually experience actual work sites and realize the importance of safety.

Director Nam Hae-kyung stated, "This has become an opportunity for employees to recognize safety as the top priority value," and expressed, "We will continue to strive for the establishment of a safety culture on-site through ongoing education."

Meanwhile, the center is systematically preserving and managing 385 cultural heritages in the western region of Jeonbuk with the support of the Cultural Heritage Administration and Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province.
