The '2025 Disability Awareness Improvement Content (Video) Contest', sponsored by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Korea Disabled Development Institute, will be held. The purpose of this contest is to spread correct awareness about disabilities and create social empathy.
The theme of the contest covers non-physical accessibility in all areas such as information, culture, education, medical, and administrative services, aiming to promote empathy towards disabilities. Any individual or a team of up to 3 people who are interested in disability empathy can participate. However, duplicate applications are not allowed.
The announcement period is from September 2nd to the 28th, and submissions will be accepted from September 29th to October 13th. Among the submitted contents, a total of 12 will be selected, and a total prize of 8.4 million won will be awarded. The top team will receive the Minister of Health and Welfare Award and 3 million won, the Gold Award will receive the Korea Disabled Development Institute Director's Award and 2 million won, followed by 2 Silver Awards (1 million won each), 3 Bronze Awards (300,000 won each), and 5 Encouragement Awards (100,000 won each).
