The alternative gallery space Space Si-eun in the area (represented by Chae Young) explores the 'power of boundaries' inherent in art through the curated exhibition . This exhibition consists of 20 flat paintings and 5 three-dimensional sculptures by two artists, Kim Ara and Shim Hye-rin, and will be held at Space Si-eun (inside Café Diotard) located on Hanjeol-gil in Wansan-gu, Jeonju City until September 30.

The curator views the surface of art pieces as a boundary separating the sculptural world and the real world. The surface of the artwork simultaneously contains the interior and exterior, possessing the power to both separate and connect existence. This exhibition explores how these boundaries can function as a place of new possibilities through the sculptural language of the two artists.

In particular, the exhibition explores the potential of art as an object and as an external entity based on Jane Bennett's concept of 'thing-power' and Gilles Deleuze's concept of 'out-side.' It views boundaries not as fixed lines but as fluid and provisional systems, highlighting the power of art at the points where the worlds intersect.

Kim Ara and Shim Hye-rin are artists based in Seoul who have uniquely unfolded the power of boundaries in the sculptural world. In this exhibition, their different sculptural languages come together to lead the audience to experience the 'world beyond boundaries.'

The Space Si-eun stated, "This exhibition aims to show that boundaries are not lines of disconnection but places that open new perspectives and possibilities," and expressed, "When the artwork and the audience meet, the power of boundaries in art will operate more vividly."
