The National Gugak Center (Director Kim Joong-hyun) will hold the 2025 'Sounds of Pansori Masters Stage' at Yeumheon on the 27th at 2 p.m. In this performance, they have invited renowned singers representing the Park Nok-ju and Kang Do-geun schools of Pansori, providing a special opportunity to enjoy the sounds of both schools in one place.

'Pansori Courtyard - Sounds of Pansori' is a representative planned performance that the National Gugak Center has consistently presented since its establishment, allowing the audience to deeply appreciate the original form of traditional Pansori through the sounds of contemporary masters.

On this stage, Jeong Soon-im, a holder of the National Intangible Cultural Heritage Pansori performing arts, will present the Park Nok-ju school of Pansori, while Jeon In-sam, a professor in the Department of Korean Music at Chonnam National University, will showcase the Kang Do-geun school of Pansori. The distinct personalities of the two singers are evident in their sounds, revealing different characteristics even within the same Pansori school.

An official from the National Gugak Center stated, "It is a rare stage where you can appreciate both the Park Nok-ju and Kang Do-geun schools of Pansori in one place," adding, "Through the sounds imbued with the lives and artistry of these masters, the depth and resonance of Pansori will be fully felt."
