Wanju Cultural Foundation (Chairman Yoo Hee-tae) has been selected for the '2025 Regional-Centric Arts and Corporate Growth Support Project' organized by the Korea Arts and Culture Council, securing a prize of 21 million won.

The key to this selection is the collaboration between the Wanju Disabled Choir 'Flower' and the Happy Dream Welfare Association. Since the establishment of the choir in 2023, the Happy Dream Welfare Association has consistently supported them with grants, performance costumes, and operating expenses, actively practicing both disabled employment and cultural arts sponsorship. This private sector sustainable sponsorship model has been recognized as a model case.

The disabled choir 'Flower' has been continuing its meaningful activities in the region, such as performing a congratulatory performance and receiving a plaque of appreciation at the 8th Jeonbuk Disabled Choir Festival held last September.

Jung Cheol-woo, a standing director of the Wanju Cultural Foundation, stated, "Through this project selection, we will strengthen the virtuous cycle structure of arts and businesses growing together," and expressed, "We will actively support meaningful partnerships between private partners like the Happy Dream Welfare Association and arts organizations in the future."
