The Life Love Division of the Wanju County Community Welfare Council recently held a cultural arts healing program for mentally vulnerable groups at Wish Art Lab.

The program was designed to help participants find emotional stability and express their emotions creatively through pottery-making activities. It was planned as a time for participants to reflect on their inner selves beyond simple experiences and to experience healing and recovery.

The event proceeded in the following order: starting with an orientation and safety education, practical pottery making such as cups, plates, and flowerpots, design work reflecting emotions, and sharing and exchanging thoughts on the completed pieces. In particular, members of the Life Love Division and professional instructors worked meticulously to support participants' activities, enhancing concentration through manual work and supporting self-expression abilities.

Kwon Eun-jeong, head of the Life Love Division, expressed hope that "this program will help alleviate participants' feelings of depression and aid in emotional recovery," adding, "We will continue to operate various rehabilitation programs in the future to improve the quality of life and promote mental health in the local community."
