Jeonju, Rich Museum Experience Program for Chuseok

Jeonju City announced on the 29th that in celebration of the Chuseok holiday, Jeonju History Museum and Eojin Museum will be offering various experiential programs for visitors from October 3rd to the 9th.

Jeonju History Museum has prepared a variety of programs under the theme of 'Day Moon Drinking,' including traditional play areas, traditional experience zones, and a family movie theater. Activities such as spinning tops, playing Korean traditional game 'ddakji,' tug-of-war, and a moonlight photo zone will be available. From October 5th to the 7th, there will be experiences like making traditional lanterns and wish cards that go well with Hanbok, family movie screenings, and a wish-writing event.

Eojin Museum will showcase family-oriented experiential programs under the theme of 'Chuseok Grand Adventure of the Moon Rabbit,' featuring a photo booth, traditional games, keychain making, and writing wishes on scrolls. In particular, 'Taejo's Blacksmith Shop' and 'Taejo's Stationery Store' will operate from the 5th to the 7th, and on Chuseok day, a special experience of making wish mobiles will also be available.

Ha Jae-sik, head of the National Heritage Management Division in Jeonju City, stated, "We have prepared a variety of programs for families to enjoy together during the long holiday," and expressed hopes that "everyone visiting the museums will have a pleasant time."

Jeonju History Museum is located at the entrance of the National Jeonju Museum (259 Sukgogae-ro), and Eojin Museum is situated within Jeonju Hanok Village at Gyeonggi Hall (44 Taejo-ro).
