On the 29th, Jeonju City held a ceremony for the appointment of "Bibimbap Ambassadors" at the Jeonju Youth Center, attended by around 70 volunteers and festival officials. The event included education on CPR, crowd control measures to prevent congestion, adult etiquette, service training for people with disabilities and the elderly, and overall festival knowledge.

In relation to this, Jeonju's representative food festival, the Jeonju Bibimbap Festival, is scheduled to take place from October 24th to 26th for three days at the Jeonju World Cup Stadium. This year's festival will feature various programs such as a "Retro Bibimbap Street" where visitors can experience over 20 different eateries in Jeonju, a "Bibimbap Parade" showcasing bibimbap chefs and ingredients, a "Mini Olympics" wishing for the successful bid for the Summer Olympics, a "Jeonju Bibimbap Friends Pop-up Store," as well as various experiences and performances for children and tourists.

Noh Eun-young, the head of the Culture, Sports, and Tourism Department in Jeonju City, stated, "The Bibimbap Ambassadors will play an important role in ensuring the smooth operation of the festival," adding, "As the autumn nights deepen, we will provide thorough pre-education to create a safe and enjoyable festival where everyone can make memories together at the Jeonju Bibimbap Festival."
