Former Jeonbuk University President Lee Nam-ho, who is likely to run for the Superintendent of Education election next year, declared a major transformation in Jeonbuk education.

The former president held a press conference at the Jeonbuk Education Office on the 30th, announcing the launch of the "Real Change Jeonbuk Education Forum," which will be the focal point for exploring new development strategies for Jeonbuk education.

The "Real Change Jeonbuk Education Forum," set to launch in mid-October, will be composed of Jeonbuk region teachers, parents, experts, with Lee Nam-ho, the former president, serving as the chairman.

The forum, operating as an open platform, plans to reflect various opinions from the education field under the broad themes of △developing real skills beyond academic achievements △educational innovation with AI and digital systems △establishing an educational community.

Lee stated, "In the framework of rapid changes in the internal and external educational environment, schools should no longer be 'isolated islands' but should connect to the future and the world," adding, "The Real Change Jeonbuk Education Forum will lead the establishment of an educational ecosystem where schools, local communities, universities, and industries work together, going beyond the limitations of closed school-centered education."
