The Jeonju Information & Culture Industry Promotion Agency announced on the 10th that it will be offering free '3D Audio (Recording & Mixing) Sound Technology Education' from October 27th to November 7th to enhance the production capabilities of the Korean film sound effects platform 'K-Sound Library'.
This course will cover the entire process necessary for creating sound effects, focusing on Dolby Atmos panning technology, including understanding sound, mono/stereo characteristics, mixing, multi-channel configuration, and Immersive Audio. The education will be conducted for about two weeks at the Jeonju Information & Culture Industry Promotion Agency, and it is open to anyone, including filmmakers, video creators, students and graduates in related fields, and job seekers.
Applications can be submitted on the agency's website (jica.or.kr) until October 23rd, and inquiries can be made at 063-281-4132. The agency expects to cultivate professionals with the capacity to create three-dimensional 3D audio based on an understanding of multi-channel recording. Director Heo Jeon stated, "K-Sound Library is the only advanced Korean sound effects platform in the country," adding, "We aim to produce numerous talents who will contribute to the global production of K-contents."
