Jeonbuk Vocational High School Wins 16 Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medals in National Skills Competition... 3 Gold, 3 Silver, and 4 Bronze

At the 60th National Skills Competition held in Gwangju from September 20 to 27, the Jeollabuk Special Self-Governing Province vocational high school team achieved a total of 34 awards (3 gold, 3 silver, 4 bronze, 5 outstanding, 17 encouragement) in 16 different occupations. According to the Jeollabuk Provincial Office of Education, 79 athletes from the province participated in 27 different occupations.

Jeollabuk Mechanical Industry High School dominated in prototype modeling, winning gold, silver, and bronze medals, continuing their streak of winning the gold medal in this category for two consecutive years. Jeonju Industrial High School secured gold, silver, and bronze in automotive body repair, automotive maintenance, and electrical control respectively. Automotive maintenance and automotive body repair have won medals for four consecutive years, while electrical control has won for two consecutive years. Namwon Jeil High School added significance by winning its first gold medal in the cooking category.

Moon Hyeong-sim, head of the Creative Talent Education Department at the Jeollabuk Provincial Office of Education, stated, "The students' passion and the dedication of the guiding teachers led to significant achievements," adding, "By combining the efforts at the school level with the support of the education office, we will strive to achieve even greater success."
