The Jeonbuk Provincial Office of Education will be operating 'Career-Oriented Vocational Guidance Counseling' for over 6,000 middle school students in 35 schools in the province until November 11th.

This program offers personalized 1:1 counseling for students aspiring to enter vocational high schools and those contemplating their career paths. Specialized vocational high school teachers will participate in the program, providing information on departments and majors that match the students' aspirations and aptitudes, as well as guidance on admission requirements and procedures. They will also focus on introducing programs tailored to meet the demands of local industries, such as Meister schools, specialized agreement high schools, and Jeonbuk Global Specialized High Schools.

In particular, through a 'Career Roadmap' that outlines career paths, growth trajectories, and employment connections after graduation, the program aims to assist students in preparing according to their individual goals and capabilities. The Education Office plans to support students in selecting schools and majors aligned with their career goals through this initiative.

Moon Hyeong-sim, the head of the Creative Talent Education Department, stated, "This counseling program goes beyond mere exploration, providing practical opportunities for middle school students to clearly understand and prepare for vocational high school education and curriculum." He added, "We will continue to expand programs that aid in career planning."
