The Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Office of Education is recruiting participants for the 4th session of the 'Native English Video Talking Class' in 2025. The program is designed to enhance English proficiency through self-directed learning utilizing individual study time and real-time interactive lessons with native English speakers.

The recruitment targets students from 3rd grade elementary school to 3rd grade high school, as well as out-of-school youth. Classes will be conducted in a 1:3 format, with one native English instructor for every three students in customized groups based on proficiency levels. It is expected to bridge the educational gap by providing real-life English language opportunities to students in underserved areas and out-of-school youth.

The program will run for 9 weeks from October 28 to December 29, with classes held twice a week for 30 minutes each session. Applications can be submitted individually online at the website (https://www.jhcenglish.co.kr/) until 9 p.m. on the 21st. After the completion of the classes, the program will be improved based on feedback from participants regarding their level of improvement and satisfaction.

Participating students shared their thoughts, with elementary students expressing, "I was worried about making mistakes at first, but I gained confidence through kind feedback," and middle school students stating, "I learned natural expressions and pronunciation that helped in actual usage." Moon Hyeong-sim, the head of the Creative Talent Education Department, mentioned, "Native English video classes are an effective program that enhances interest and confidence," adding, "We will strive to reduce private education costs and boost students' English confidence through substantial operation."
