U18 Team, Conducted in Two Phases with 15 Teams... Time for Learning and Experience
On the 11th, four players and one coach from the Jeonbuk Hyundai U18 team departed for the Netherlands to join the PSV Eindhoven team for a two-week football training session.
Since signing a partnership with PSV Eindhoven in 2023, Jeonbuk Hyundai has continued personnel exchanges annually, and this year, they conducted this program for the growth and development of the youth team.
The players will participate in the same training program as the same age group players from PSV Eindhoven, including two weeks of physical and field training, team training, and more.
Not only the players but also the accompanying coaches will participate in the training, exchanging knowledge with the PSV Eindhoven youth team coaches on training, game tactics, and improving the capabilities of the youth team operation.
After the completion of the U18 team training, the U15 team will also conduct training consecutively in November.
In November, four selected players and one coach from the U15 team will live with the PSV Eindhoven U15 players following the same schedule for two weeks, planning to have various experiences in a different environment.
Especially last year, the U15 players had the opportunity to train with the PSV Eindhoven team one to two years older, bringing various and unique experiences, which is expected to be a time for the players' development this year as well.
Jeonbuk Hyundai Director Lee Do-hyun said, "I am pleased to provide learning opportunities for the youth team players through personnel exchanges with PSV Eindhoven," adding, "As this is a time when youth players can see, feel, and learn the most, the club will continue to support the players' continuous growth."
On another note, in May, Jeonbuk Hyundai invited PSV's set-piece, conditioning, and goalkeeper coaches to Jeonju to conduct special coaching sessions for the youth team and the N team.
