The 23rd Jeonju International Fermented Food Expo will be held from October 30th to November 3rd at the Jeonju World Cup Stadium.

Under the slogan "Fermentation, the Future of K-Food," this expo will bring together 326 companies from 22 countries, showcasing a variety of fermented foods from around the world.

The exhibition and sales booths will be divided into Global Agriculture and Life Pavilion, Leading Product Pavilion, Marine and Fisheries Pavilion, and Cooperative Food Pavilion. In the domestic company section, traditional fermented foods, excellent products from Jeollabuk-do, and regional specialty products such as 6th industrial products will be exhibited and sold.

The international company section will feature 34 companies from 12 countries including Australia, Spain, and Georgia, showcasing products reflecting each country's fermented foods and food industry trends. A special exhibition hall will shed light on the past, present, and future of fermented foods, offering various attractions such as the Jeonbuk Food Master Exhibition and the Local Food Promotion Fair. Particularly in the "Traditional Liquor Special Exhibition," leading traditional liquor manufacturers from Jeollabuk-do will participate in tasting and selling local traditional liquors including this year's celebratory liquor.

The expo will also focus on marketing activities to support the overseas market entry of local agricultural and food companies. Jeollabuk-do will hold online and offline B2B export consultation meetings in collaboration with KOTRA (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency) and the Korea International Trade Association, and operate a live commerce studio with the Jeonju Information and Culture Industry Promotion Agency to actively support online promotions. Additionally, plans are in place to expand sales of participating companies through various promotional channels such as the Post Office Shopping Mall, YouTube live broadcasts, and on-site interviews.

A variety of performance and experience programs that can be enjoyed by all generations have been prepared. Programs include cultural experiences using local agricultural and food products, children's musicals, percussion parades, VR experiences, and other diverse contents that families can enjoy together.

Popular children's characters such as 'Mini Special Forces' and 'Catch Tiny Ping' will take the stage, and around 30 interactive programs including traditional games, face painting, and cooking classes will be continuously operated.
