The Organizing Committee of the Jeonju International Film Festival (Chairman of the Organizing Committee Woo Beom-gi, hereinafter referred to as the Organizing Committee) has confirmed the reappointment of Min Sung-wook and Jung Joon-ho as co-executive directors. The two executive directors will serve until December 13, 2028, leading the film festival from the 27th to the 29th editions.

On the 27th, the Organizing Committee decided to hold the 27th Jeonju International Film Festival from April 29 to May 8 next year, along with the reappointment of the executive directors during a board meeting.

The Organizing Committee evaluated, "Min Sung-wook, who has been with the Organizing Committee since the early days of the film festival, has been focusing on establishing the festival's identity based on his rich experience. Jung Joon-ho, an actor and entrepreneur, has contributed to expanding the festival's outreach and enhancing its popularity based on his high public recognition and network."
