Jeonbuk Hyundai U14 Youth Team Heads to Nagoya, Japan

The Jeonbuk Hyundai U14 team departed on the 30th to participate in the 'Midland Challenge 2025' in Nagoya, Japan.

The 'Midland Challenge 2025' is a competition where youth players compete in Nagoya, located geographically in the center of Japan, utilizing the name 'Midland' to signify the event.

Hosted by the J-League's Nagoya Grampus, this year marks the 15th edition of the tournament, taking place at the club's clubhouse, the 'Toyota Sports Center' in Nagoya.

Jeonbuk Hyundai and Nagoya Grampus, as representative professional football teams in their respective leagues, are promoting a partnership aimed at cooperation not only in football but also in marketing and other areas.

The invitation extended to Jeonbuk Hyundai's youth team is part of the partnership promotion process, marking the first step in mutual exchange through this tournament participation.

The competition, scheduled for November 1st and 2nd, will see the host team Nagoya Grampus, along with Gamba Osaka, Cerezo Osaka, Shimizu S-Pulse, Kyoto Sanga, and other top Japanese pro youth teams, competing to showcase their skills.

The matches will consist of two halves of 25 minutes each, with Jeonbuk Hyundai U14 team starting with a match against Kyoto Sanga on the first day, followed by games against Nagoya Grampus, Gamba Osaka, and Grampus Miyoshi.

Having participated in the 'Chen Zhao Cup' in Hangzhou, China on the 20th, the Jeonbuk Hyundai U14 team is expanding its international exchanges by taking part in the 'Midland Challenge 2025', with plans to continue growing through international experiences in the future.
