The Jeonju Cultural Foundation (Representative Director Choi Rak-gi) is launching a cultural arts support project called 'Together We Are' to expand cultural enjoyment opportunities for culturally marginalized groups and strengthen the cultural welfare infrastructure within the region.

This project involves directly reaching out to citizens who have difficulty with mobility or limited access to culture, delivering cultural arts programs to create a Jeonju where everyone is connected through culture. It is a public service project of the Jeonju Cultural Foundation's Jeonju Hanbyeok Cultural Center aimed at making traditional culture accessible to all.

This year, four welfare institutions including the Jeonju Disability Welfare Center, Kkotbatjeong Elderly Welfare Center, Pyeonghwa Social Welfare Center, and Haksan Comprehensive Social Welfare Center have been selected as project targets. The foundation will visit each institution to provide traditional cultural experience education and various performance viewing opportunities. Through this, participants will be supported to enjoy culture in their daily lives and have time to communicate through art.

Through this project, the Jeonju Cultural Foundation plans to address the imbalance in cultural accessibility within the region and build a sustainable cultural welfare network based on cooperation between welfare institutions and artistic organizations.

Choi Rak-gi, the representative director of the Jeonju Cultural Foundation, stated, "Through this project, we aim to create opportunities for all citizens to communicate and empathize through culture," and added, "We will continue to strive to increase the accessibility of cultural arts so that people can feel the value of culture in their daily lives."
