The Wanju County Education Integration Support Center is launching the '2025 Local Industry-Linked Employment Capability Enhancement Volunteer Program' in collaboration with local industries to enhance students' social participation skills and competitiveness in the job market.

This program, under the slogan 'Drawing the Future,' involves 72 first-year students (4 classes) from the Hydrogen Energy High School participating in a total of 4 sessions from the 30th of last month to the 19th of this month. Students will autonomously plan and participate in volunteer activities, gaining an understanding of local community issues and a growth experience.

This volunteer activity is being carried out through collaboration with local specialized organizations such as the Wanju County Volunteer Center, Mankyeong River Love Keepers, P&DI, and Neulbom Stray Dog Rehabilitation Center. Participating students will rotate through four areas: △Stray Dog Care △Mankyeong River Environmental Cleanup △Cultural Arts Wall Painting △Understanding Volunteerism, experiencing the value of volunteering firsthand.

The center operates a 'learning-experience-based program' that goes beyond simple field experiences, allowing students to learn the meaning of volunteer activities, plan, and execute them themselves. This helps raise community awareness and responsibility while naturally developing essential job skills such as communication, collaboration, and problem-solving.

An official from the Wanju County Education Integration Support Center stated, "This volunteer activity will be an experience for students to find their roles in the local community and grow together," expressing hope that such opportunities for cooperation between the local community and schools will lead to students exploring career paths and enhancing practical job skills.

The center plans to continuously expand various educational programs that allow youth to grow with the local community and practice the values of a community.
