Jeonbuk Hyundai's foreign duo, Gamboa and Chumacero, had a meaningful time.
On the afternoon of the 15th, at the futsal field of Jeonju World Cup Stadium, Jeonbuk Hyundai's foreign duo, Gamboa from Portugal and Chumacero from Ghana, actively participated as daily soccer coaches.
The two players were invited as coaching guests to a daily soccer class organized by the Jeonju Immigration and Foreigner Affairs Office (Director Cho Seung-rae), where they provided special coaching to around 30 children from the Jeonju Global Multicultural Center.
The Jeonju Immigration and Foreigner Affairs Office stated that they arranged this meaningful event to instill a sense of belonging and pride as residents of Jeonbuk to the multinational children.
Jeonbuk Hyundai, as a local sports team, gathered their intentions to provide all children with opportunities for healthy physical activities and to support the purpose of the Jeonju Immigration and Foreigner Affairs Office.
The two players conducted a coaching session for the children, held a signing event, and also presented pre-prepared Jeonbuk Hyundai merchandise as.gif'>ts.
Furthermore, for the upcoming home game on the 30th, not only the children they met that day but also their families will be invited for a stadium tour and game-watching support.
Gamboa and Chumacero, who participated in this meaningful event, expressed their feelings by saying, "It was enjoyable to meet children in a place other than the stadium and have a special experience," and "Regardless of nationality, it was a precious time where all children could come together as one with just a soccer ball."
