The Jeonbuk Disability Policy Forum will hold the '4th Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Disability Organizations Exchange Meeting and Welfare Award Ceremony' at the Peace Hall of Jeonju Chimsangjasungji on December 1. This event, sponsored by Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province, is a gathering for exchange and harmony among disability organizations in the province.
The event schedule will start with registration at 11:30 a.m., followed by the welfare award ceremony at 1 p.m., and the disability organizations exchange meeting at 2 p.m. At the award ceremony, organizations and individuals who have contributed to promoting welfare for people with disabilities and enhancing their human rights in the Jeonbuk region will be honored. Subsequently, during the exchange meeting, each organization will share their activities and explore future cooperation opportunities.
The exchange meeting will be attended by 17 organizations, including the Jeollabuk-do Intellectual Disabilities Association, the Korea Deafblind Association Jeollabuk-do Branch, the Jeollabuk-do Blind Union, Dream Dragon Disability Association, Down Welfare Center, Lael, New Light Disability Independent Living Center, Disability Rights Association, National Association of Parents with Disabilities Jeonbuk Branch, Jeollabuk-do Severe Disability Independent Living Association, Jeonbuk Women with Disabilities Association, Jeonbuk Small Hands Disability Independent Living Center, Jeonbuk Disability Cart Independent Living Association, Jeonbuk Disability Information and Culture Association, Korea Association of Parents with Disabilities Jeonbuk Branch, Korea Spinal Cord Injuries Association Jeonbuk Branch, and Hope Dream.
The Jeonbuk Disability Policy Forum hopes that this event will broaden communication among local disability organizations and serve as an opportunity to share policy agendas aimed at improving the quality of life for people with disabilities and their families.
