On the 19th, Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province held the 18th Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Hope Tree Love Art Festival with Children in 2025 at the Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Performance Hall. Hosted by Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province and organized by the Jeonbuk Child Welfare Association, the event was attended by around 550 people, including children and staff from 15 child welfare facilities in the province, officials from related organizations, and sponsors. The event was attended by Governor Kim Gwanyoung, Vice Chairman Kim Heesu of the Provincial Council, and Chairman Kim Joseph of the Korea Child Welfare Association.

The Hope Tree Love Art Festival has been held annually since 2007 to enhance the creativity, expressiveness, self-confidence, and sense of accomplishment of children. This year marked the 18th edition of the event, providing a platform for children in child welfare facilities in the province to showcase their artistic talents and grow together.

During the first part of the event, commendations and awards were presented to staff members who contributed to child welfare development and exemplary children, along with acknowledgments and tokens of appreciation to sponsoring organizations and donors. The second part featured various performances such as choir singing, instrumental performances, cheerleading, and dance, where children displayed their talents.

Yang Hyanghwan, the head of the Jeonbuk Child Welfare Association, expressed hope that through the Hope Tree Love Art Festival, children would nurture their dreams and hopes, growing into individuals who can give back to society.
