The Innovation Convergence Campus Project Team at Jeonju Institute of Technology (RISE Project Team Collaboration) announced on the 23rd that they participated in the 'Jeonbuk Saemangeum Secondary Battery Sustainable Development Forum' held at the Best Western Gunsan Hotel to discuss the future strategies of the regional secondary battery industry.

The forum was organized and hosted by nine organizations including the Jeonbuk Carbon Neutral Circular Economy Association, Gunsan University, and the RIS Energy New Industry Project Team, with the participation of ten organizations including Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province, Saemangeum Development Agency, and Gunsan City.

At the event, a first-year student, Eun Ji-oh, from the Secondary Battery Materials and Parts Department at Jeonju Institute of Technology, attended as the school's representative and received a commendation certificate and scholarship from the Jeonbuk Carbon Neutral Circular Economy Association. This was the first case of a student from Jeonju Institute of Technology receiving a scholarship certificate at an official event related to the local secondary battery industry, and the university explained that it was evaluated as an achievement in cultivating specialized talents for regional industrial-academic cooperation.
