The Wanju County Council (Chairman Yoo Ui-sik) announced on the 24th that they conducted the '4th Council Training for 2025' at the Council's Cultural Lecture Room.
This training was conducted with the participation of 11 members including Chairman Yoo Ui-sik, and 40 people including council office staff, focusing on legal education. The education content included integrated education on preventing the four major types of violence, improving awareness of people with disabilities, and emergency treatment such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
The Council explained that through this training, they aimed to raise awareness of human rights and adult sensitivity, create a healthy organizational culture based on mutual respect and consideration, and become a trusted council for the residents. In particular, through the CPR training conducted by Wanju Fire Chief Seol Su-kyung, they enhanced their ability to respond to emergency situations.
Chairman Yoo Ui-sik stated, "As an institution that carries out public responsibilities close to the lives of the residents, it is important to internalize the values of human rights and respect," adding, "Based on learning and reflection, we will strive to create a Wanju County Council that is trusted."
The Wanju County Council plans to continue efforts to enhance expertise and ethical awareness through regular council training and education, in order to realize responsible governance.
