The Wanju Education Integration Support Center announced that it has successfully completed the pilot education program for the 'School-Village Instructor Certification System' and established the institutional and practical foundation for the full-scale operation of the certification system in 2026.
The pilot education program was conducted as a comprehensive verification stage of the education, evaluation, and advisory system before the introduction of the certification system. It included steps such as capacity enhancement education for village instructors, assessment through demonstrations and interviews, and a multi-layered operational structure linked to expert advice. The focus was on examining the effectiveness and practical applicability of the certification system and deriving improvement directions for the overall operation of the system.
In particular, the education program was designed with responsibility, professionalism, and field-based competence as core competencies, focusing on enhancing understanding of school education, capacity for lesson design and operation, and strengthening the perception of roles as educational agents. The assessment process emphasized comprehensive evaluation of the applicability in actual educational settings and educational attitudes, rather than leaning towards quantitative evaluation, thereby increasing the public nature and credibility of the certification system.
Furthermore, external expert advice was sought concurrently for the certification criteria, evaluation items, and overall operational procedures to complement the validity and objectivity of the system. Improvement tasks reflecting the opinions of participants in the field were also identified.
Based on the successful pilot operation, the Wanju Education Integration Support Center plans to officially operate the School-Village Instructor Certification System from 2026. They aim to establish a mutual trust-based educational cooperation structure between schools and communities by gradually systematizing the certification system's education programs, enhancing assessment criteria, and developing post-certification activity linkage models.
A center official stated, "The pilot education program was a significant process that verified the direction and feasibility of the certification system," and expressed, "Through full-scale operation in 2026, we will publicly recognize the professionalism of village instructors and continuously lead the qualitative growth of school-community linked education."
