Jeonbuk Ilbo Munwoo Society has published "A Little Comfort for You" (Walking Person·2025).

This book is a collection of reviews and essays by 21 authors through 58 books, offering comfort and hope to readers. The authors carefully revisit moments of life's wounds and recovery through shining sentences and narratives in the books, conveying warm perspectives and gentle empathy to the readers.

The participating authors include poets Gyeong Jong-ho, Gi Myeong-suk, Kim Jeong-gyeong, Kim Heon-su, Park Tae-geon, Ahn Seong-deok, Lee Yeong-jong, Jang Chang-yeong, children's book authors Kim Geun-hye, Kim Jong-pil, Lee Gyeong-ok, Jang Eun-yeong, essayists Kim Yeong-ju, Lee Jin-suk, literary critic Moon Sin, novelists Oh Eun-suk, Jeong Suk-in, Choi A-hyeon, Hwang Bo-yoon, Hwang Ji-ho, playwright Choi Gi-woo, and literary figures from Jeonbuk Ilbo's Shinchun Literary Contest.

The 21 authors sincerely recorded in 58 essays how a book can leave a meaningful impact on a person's life. This work led to a process where sentences encountered in moments of loneliness, wounds, anxiety, and despair eventually bloomed into gratitude, recovery, and ultimately the strength to rise again. Among the shining sentences extended in the book, tears, courage, and affection towards the world are deeply embedded. By recalling emotions that are easily overlooked in the rapidly flowing daily life and increasingly desolate reality, the book presents another perspective on life centered around comfort and empathy.

The quiet yet firm voices of the authors resonate slowly in the hearts of readers, and naturally, readers find themselves intertwining their lives with the stories that originated from the authors' personal experiences. The book quietly informs us that when our perspective on the world changes, the landscape of life can also change. This literary journey is an exploration of the possibility of reconnecting with the world through understanding and empathizing with others.
