Advanced Course - Sowing Class for Environmental Health Consideration: Natural Dyeing Experience Teaching and Learning Activity

Jeonju National University of Education (President Park Byeong-chun) announced on the 16th that it had successfully operated the '2025 Jeolla-Jeju Special Self-Governing Province 2nd Year Nulbom School Instructor Training Course' sponsored by the Ministry of Education and the Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science.

This training course, conducted from July last year to June this year as the 2nd year program, consisted of basic and advanced courses. The basic course focused on understanding Nulbom School policies, elementary education curriculum, and the design of Jeonbuk-style Nulbom School programs, aiming to enhance teaching capabilities considering the developmental characteristics of lower and upper grade students.

The advanced course was composed of 16 topics in 7 areas including physical education, cultural arts, humanities and social sciences, creative science, climate, and environment, promoting the development and establishment of Jeonbuk-style Nulbom School programs reflecting regional characteristics. A total of 189 participants completed the advanced course in the fall semester, and 167 participants completed the basic course.

Instructor Yu Jeong-hee, who participated in the training, stated, "Systematic training for Nulbom School instructors greatly helped enhance teaching capabilities," and expressed hope for continuous training opportunities in the future.

President Park Byeong-chun said, "Nulbom School is a comprehensive education program that integrates school education with local educational resources," and revealed that high satisfaction was achieved through team-based project-centered training.

The training is operated on weekends, weekdays, and evenings by semester, and Nulbom School instructors or interested individuals can apply through the Jeonju National University of Education Nulbom Project Team's website.
