The 'Daily Life Skills Enhancement' program, jointly organized by Jeollabuk Special Self-Governing Province (host) and the Disability Rights Alliance (sponsor), with the goal of enhancing the independent living skills of severely disabled individuals, has successfully concluded. The project, which ran from March to November 2025 in Jeonju, Gunsan, Wanju, and other areas, targeted 460 individuals with developmental disabilities (23 sessions, 20 participants per session) providing daily life skills and emotional support, yielding excellent results amidst the expansion of deinstitutionalization policies.

Through activities such as Integrated Art Therapy (HTP·K-HTP drawing, stained glass·acrylic mood light production, gardening·terrarium activities), cultural and leisure experiences (concerts·movie screenings, hanok village·provincial art museum visits), public facility internships (visits to Gyeonggi Palace·National Intangible Heritage Center, library card issuance·book rentals), cooking·independent living activities (shopping at the mart followed by making sandwiches·bibimbap·tteokbokki and sharing), participants' self-esteem, social skills, and life skills significantly improved.

A Disability Rights Alliance official stated in an interview, "Through repeated art and cooking activities, participants enhanced their emotional expression and communication skills, gaining confidence in 'I can do it'." Performance evaluations were conducted through satisfaction surveys, mid-term and final evaluations of instructors, and feedback from participants and assistant volunteers, confirming high satisfaction levels in key indicators such as acquisition of independent skills, enhancement of social adaptability, and reduction of family caregiving burden.
