Jeongeup Agricultural Technology Center will conduct a '2026 New Year Agriculture Practical Education' from February 3rd to 5th to proactively respond to the changing agricultural environment and agricultural policy direction, and to share core cultivation techniques and policy information.
This education program will be held over a total of four sessions, reflecting the results of a 2025 survey of farmers and their interest in crops. On February 3rd and 4th, there will be education on cultivation techniques for grains such as rice and beans, and on February 5th, there will be education on cultivation techniques for local income crops such as watermelon and peaches.
External experts from the Rural Development Administration and the Korea Institute of Agricultural Technology will participate in the education program to deliver practical and field-applicable technologies based on the latest research outcomes.
Kang Yong-won, the head of the Agricultural Technology Center, stated, "This practical education is an important starting point for setting the direction of farming for the year," and expressed his intention to continuously expand tailored education that provides practical help to farmers.
