Muju County is launching the "Youth Employment Housing Support Program" to support the housing stability and economic independence of young people. Applications will be accepted from January 23 to 30.

The support targets young people aged 18 to 49 who reside in Muju County and are engaged in labor, business, agriculture, etc., and this year, the income criteria have been relaxed to 180% or less of the median income to expand the support range.

Selection will be based on a comprehensive evaluation of the median income criteria (40%), length of employment (30%), and age (30%), with priority given to those with higher scores. Recipients of housing allowances, residents of public rental housing, and other housing support beneficiaries are excluded.

The program aims to recruit 50 individuals, providing support for up to 12 months (once in a lifetime) with a maximum of 50% of monthly rent or loan interest, up to 200,000 won per month.

Oh Kyung-tae, head of the Population Vitality and Youth Policy Team, stated, "We have relaxed the income criteria to allow more young people to benefit and are making efforts in promotion."

For detailed application information, individuals can visit the Muju County website or check the Youth Policy bulletin board. Applications should be submitted in person to the Population Vitality and Youth Policy Team at Muju County Office. Last year, 39 young people benefited from this program.
