The Jeonju International Film Festival (co-executive directors Min Sung-wook and Jung Joon-ho) announced on the 26th that they will release 11 overseas films produced and invested in through the Jeonju Cinema Project on the specialized art film OTT service 'Collectio'.
The Jeonju Cinema Project is a representative program in which the Jeonju International Film Festival discovers creative and challenging low-budget feature films from domestic and international sources and directly participates in their production and investment. Since its launch in 2014, it has presented a total of 38 films, including 24 domestic and 14 overseas films, until 2025.
The selected works of the Jeonju Cinema Project have established themselves as a distinctive production and investment brand that attracts worldwide attention in the film industry by receiving invitations and awards from prestigious film festivals at home and abroad, including the Jeonju International Film Festival.
'Collectio' is a specialized OTT service for classic and art films launched by M&M International Co., Ltd. in 2023.
As a leading art film library in Korea that introduces a variety of auteur films from classic art films to contemporary art house films, it provides works with rarity and artistic value through stable licenses and high-quality visuals, conveying the charm of art films to new audiences.
