전주시는 여름방학을 맞은 어린이들이 도서관에서 즐겁고 유익한 시간을 보낼 수 있도록 오는 22일부터 8월 9일까지 시립도서관 11곳에서 ‘여름방학 독서 특강’을 운영한다고 15일 밝혔다.
이번 특강은 어린이 170여 명을 대상으로 책과 놀이를 결합한 독후활동 프로그램 15개가 마련됐다. 주요 프로그램으로는 △도자기 접시 만들기(꽃심), △음악 그림책 만들기(완산), △여름 티라미수 만들기(삼천), △조개 무드등 만들기(평화), △워터볼 만들기(쪽구름) 등 도서관별 다양한 체험 활동이 준비돼 있다.
또한 8월 4일부터 7일까지는 금암·삼천도서관에서 초등 4~6학년을 대상으로 ‘여름독서교실’도 진행된다. 우수 참가자 4명에게는 국립어린이청소년도서관장상과 전주시장상이 수여된다.
