전라북도특별자치도의 무형문화유산인 전라삼현육각의 전통을 잇는 ‘제4회 전라삼현육각보존회 정기공연’이 오는 3일 오후 7시 30분 한국소리문화의전당 명인홀에서 열린다.

전라삼현육각보존회가 주최하는 이번 공연은 호남 지역을 대표하는 대풍류, 승무, 줄풍류가 한 무대에 모여 전통예술의 깊이와 아름다움을 전하는 자리다.

공연은 삼현육각의 원형을 살린 대취타 형식의 행락 ‘마두군악·승전곡’을 시작으로, 농삼현의 대표곡 ‘본영산’, 그리고 전북 무형유산인 전라삼현승무가 차례로 선보인다. 특히 승무는 문정근 명무가 출연해 전통 동작과 음악의 조화를 완성도 높게 보여줄 예정이다.

또한 고창줄풍류보존회가 특별 초청돼 본영산·중령산·타령·상현도드리 등 줄풍류 전통 전곡을 선보이며, 호남 향제풍류의 정통성을 무대에서 확인할 수 있는 뜻깊은 시간이 마련된다.

이어 전라삼현육각 농삼현의 염불·굿거리·자즌타령 등 전곡이 전통 편성으로 연주되며, 이수자와 전수생들이 모두 참여해 호남 대풍류의 원형을 재현한다. 올해는 특히 1기부터 3기까지 전수생들이 함께 무대에 올라 전승 교육의 성과를 보여 주는 점이 눈길을 끈다.

전라삼현육각보존회는 1984년 재현 공연을 시작으로 40여 년간 본영산과 승무, 의례 음악 등 지역 전통예술의 복원과 전승에 힘써 왔다. 2011년 전북도 무형문화재로 지정된 이후 총 14회의 공개행사를 진행하며 지역 문화유산 보존에 중요한 역할을 하고 있다.

이항윤 보존회장은 “호남의 대풍류와 향제풍류가 한자리에서 울려 퍼지는 귀한 무대”라며 “전수생들과 함께 지역의 전통을 이어가는 데 큰 의미가 있다”고 말했다.

이번 공연은 전라삼현육각보존회 이수자·전수생, 전라삼현승무 보유자 문정근, 고창줄풍류보존회 등이 참여한다.

The '4th Regular Performance of the Jeolla Samhyeon Yukgak Preservation Society' which continues the tradition of Jeolla Samhyeon Yukgak, an intangible cultural heritage of Jeollabuk-do Special Self-Governing Province, will be held at 7:30 p.m. on the 3rd at the Myeongin Hall of the Korean Sound Culture Hall.

This performance, organized by the Jeolla Samhyeon Yukgak Preservation Society, will bring together the representative Daepung-ryu, Seungmu, and Julpung-ryu of the Honam region on one stage, conveying the depth and beauty of traditional arts.

The performance will start with the large-scale performance 'Madugunak·Seungjeongok,' which preserves the original form of Samhyeon Yukgak, followed by the representative piece 'Bonyeongsan' of Nongsamhyeon, and the Jeolla Samhyeon Seungmu, an intangible heritage of Jeollabuk-do. In particular, Seungmu will be performed by the famous dancer Moon Jeong-geun, promising a high level of harmony between traditional movements and music.

Additionally, the Gochang Julpung-ryu Preservation Society will be specially invited to present traditional Julpung-ryu pieces such as 'Bonyeongsan,' 'Jungnyeongsan,' 'Tareng,' and 'Sanghyeondo-dori,' allowing the audience to witness the authenticity of Honam's fragrant wind music on stage.

Following this, all the pieces of Yeombul, Gutgeori, and Jajeuntareng of Jeolla Samhyeon Yukgak Nongsamhyeon will be performed in a traditional arrangement, with both current students and successors participating to recreate the original form of Honam Daepung-ryu. This year, the participation of successors from the 1st to the 3rd generations together on stage showcasing the achievements of the transmission education is particularly noteworthy.

Since its inception in 1984, the Jeolla Samhyeon Yukgak Preservation Society has been dedicated to the restoration and transmission of local traditional arts such as Bonyeongsan, Seungmu, and ritual music for over 40 years. Since being designated as an intangible cultural asset of Jeollabuk-do in 2011, they have held a total of 14 public events, playing an important role in the preservation of regional cultural heritage.

Chairman Lee Hang-yoon stated, "It is a precious stage where the Daepung-ryu and fragrant wind music of Honam resound together," emphasizing the significance of continuing the region's traditions with successors.

Participants in this performance include graduates and successors of the Jeolla Samhyeon Yukgak Preservation Society, the holder of Jeolla Samhyeon Seungmu, Moon Jeong-geun, and the Gochang Julpung-ryu Preservation Society.
