학생들의 성장을 위해 묵묵히 헌신한 교직원들의 노고를 기리는 ‘제7회 아름다운 교육공동체상’ 시상식이 15일 오후 2시, 전북특별자치도교육청 대강당에서 열렸다.
이번 행사는 (사)한국아름다운공동체(이사장 두재균)가 주최·주관해, 교육현장에서 헌신한 교직원들의 숨은 공로를 발굴하고 널리 알리기 위해 마련됐다.
시상식에는 전북학교운영위원장 협의회 윤미연 회장을 비롯해 교육계 인사, 지역 기관·단체장, 수상자 가족과 동료 교직원 등이 참석해 수상자들을 축하했다.
여섯 명의 교육자, 현장에서 빛나다
올해 수상의 영예를 안은 교직원은 △김성희 전주기전중 교사 △박상옥 무주푸른꿈고 교감 △전승덕 전주양현중 교장 △송규 부안남초 교장 △송원용 전주반월초 교사 △김정희 군산산북초 교육복지사 등 6명이다.
김성희 교사는 탄소중립 실천을 생활화하는 학교문화를 만들고, 자유학기제와 체험활동을 연계한 수업으로 학생 중심의 교실 혁신을 이끌었다. 환경교육과 진로교육을 융합한 교육과정 운영으로 학생들의 생태감수성과 미래역량을 함께 키웠다는 평가를 받았다.
박상옥 교감은 23년 동안 대안교육 확산과 학생 문해력 향상에 힘써 왔다. 학업중단 위기에 놓인 학생들을 위한 맞춤형 프로그램을 개발하고, 학생 개개인의 잠재력을 일깨우는 교육을 실천해왔다.
전승덕 교장은 학생과 학부모, 교직원이 함께 참여하는 민주적 학교문화를 조성했다. 신뢰와 배려를 바탕으로 구성원 모두가 행복한 학교를 만드는 데 헌신했다는 평을 받았다.
김정희 교육복지사는 교육배려 학생들의 꾸준한 사례관리와 교사·학부모 간 소통 강화로 실질적인 교육복지를 실현했다. 맞춤형 지역자원 연계와 공동체 활동을 통해 학교와 지역이 함께 성장하는 기반을 마련했다.
송규 교장은 청소년단체활동(스카우트)을 중심으로 학생들이 자기주도적 역량을 기를 수 있도록 지도했다. 체험 중심 교육으로 학생들의 미래 준비에 기여한 점이 높게 평가됐다.
송원용 교사는 체육·예술 중심의 맞춤형 교육과정으로 학생들의 전인적 성장을 지원했다. 개별 학생의 특성을 살린 교육과 생활지도를 통해 긍정적 학교문화 형성에도 앞장섰다.
The 7th Beautiful Education Community Award Ceremony Held at Jeonbuk Education Office
The 7th Beautiful Education Community Awards ceremony, which honors the dedication of educational staff who have silently devoted themselves to the growth of students, was held on the 15th at 2 p.m. in the auditorium of the Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Office of Education.
This event was organized and hosted by the Korea Beautiful Community (Chairman Du Jae-gyun) to discover and widely publicize the hidden contributions of educational staff who have dedicated themselves in the field of education.
The award ceremony was attended by Yoon Mi-yeon, the chairman of the Jeonbuk School Operation Committee, as well as educational personnel, local officials, organization leaders, award recipients' families, and fellow educational staff who came to congratulate the winners.
Six educators shining in the field this year
The six honored educational staff members this year are Kim Sung-hee, a teacher at Jeonju Gijeon Middle School; Park Sang-ok, a vice principal at Muju Pure Dream High School; Jeon Seung-deok, principal of Jeonju Yanghyun Middle School; Song Gyu, principal of Buan Nam Elementary School; Song Won-yong, a teacher at Jeonju Banwol Elementary School; and Kim Jung-hee, an educational welfare officer at Gunsan Sanbuk Elementary School.
Teacher Kim Sung-hee created a school culture that practices carbon neutrality in daily life and led classroom innovation focusing on student-centered learning through a combination of free semester systems and experiential activities. She received praise for operating an educational curriculum that integrates environmental education and career guidance to nurture students' ecological sensitivity and future capabilities.
Vice principal Park Sang-ok has been dedicated to expanding alternative education and improving students' literacy for 23 years. He developed tailored programs for students at risk of dropping out and implemented education that awakens the potential of each student.
Principal Jeon Seung-deok fostered a democratic school culture where students, parents, and educational staff participate together. He devoted himself to creating a happy school for all members based on trust and consideration.
Educational welfare officer Kim Jung-hee realized substantial educational welfare through continuous case management for students in need of educational care and strengthening communication between teachers and parents. She established a foundation for schools and communities to grow together through tailored local resource coordination and community activities.
Principal Song Gyu guided students to develop self-directed capabilities through youth organization activities (Scouts). His contribution to students' future readiness through experiential education was highly praised.
Teacher Song Won-yong supported students' holistic growth through tailored education programs centered on physical education and arts. He took the lead in forming a positive school culture through education and life guidance that respects individual student characteristics.
