사랑을 행복을 나눔을 붓는 사단법인 붓다(이사장 진성 스님) 제1차 정기총회가 지난 3월 28일 전주 아리랑하우스 연회장에서 80여 명이 참석한 가운데 성대히 열렸다. 총회는 1부 기념식과 2부 정기총회 순으로 진행되었다.
2023년 8월에 설립한 사단법인 붓다는 베트남에 의료봉사 및 유치원 지하수 후원 봉사와 매월 2회 국수나눔 및 군 부대와 교정봉사, 외국인 봉사과 진안 어르신 생신상 및 홍삼고추장담기, 탑사 천지기도, 백미나눔 등 지금까지 총 103회 봉사를 하고 있어 봉사의 역사를 새로 쓰고 있다는 평을 받고 있다.
이날 총회장에는 사단법인 붓다 이사장 진성 스님과 총괄 이사 현진 스님을 비롯하여 태고종 원융회 사무총장겸 경기남부종무원장 성각 스님, 일광사 대종사 승천 스님, 무형문화재 제18호 전북영산작법보존회 회장 태봉사 영산 스님, 전북종무원 재무국장 대인사 지오 스님, 김대식 전북국제협력진흥원장, 김태권 복지TV전북방송 대표, 장원욱 전주아중요양병원장, 장석희 전북대불청회장. 김요섭 진안군자원봉사센터장 등과 많은 붓다봉사단원들이 참여했다.
그동안 붓다봉사단의 발전을 위해 도움을 주신 분들에 대한 시상식이 열려 많은 박수를 받았다. 공로패에는 붓다 총괄 상임이사 현진 스님과 매달 정기적으로 후원하고 있는 장원욱 아중요양병원장원장외 5명, 감사장에는 이재현 붓다봉사단장 외 18명이 수상했다. 특히 공로패를 수상한 김태권 복지TV전북방송 대표는 보답으로 골동품인 족자와 멋진 수석을 진성 스님께 선물을 하여 큰 관심을 받기도 했다.
이번 총회에서 2024년 사업실적 및 결산과 2025년도 사업계획 및 예산을 승인하고 공석인 신임 이사에 박교상 교도소봉사단장이 당선되었다.
사단법인 붓다 이사장 진성 스님은 “그동안 열악한 환경에도 불구하고 열성적으로 도와주신 회원 여러분에게 진심으로 감사드린다”면서 “오늘 정기총회를 계기로 좀 더 체계적이고 발전적인 사단법인 붓다로 발전해 나가겠다”고 말했다.

The first regular general meeting of the nonprofit organization Budha (Chairman Ven. Jinseong) was held in a grand manner on March 28th at the Arirang House in Jeonju, with over 80 attendees. Many Budha volunteers, including Kim Yo-seop, Director of Jinan County Volunteer Service Center, also participated.
An award ceremony was held to honor those who have contributed to the development of Budha volunteer group. Executive Director Ven. Hyeonjin and six others were awarded with plaques of merit, while 18 individuals, including Budha Director Lee Jae-hyun, received certificates of appreciation. Kim Tae-kwon, CEO of Welfare TV Jeonbuk Broadcasting, who received a plaque of merit, presented a valuable seal and a beautiful calligraphy set as a token of appreciation to Chairman Ven. Jinseong, garnering significant attention.
During this meeting, the operational performance and financial statements for 2024 were approved, and the business plan and budget for 2025 were also endorsed. Park Gyo-sang, Director of the Prison Volunteer Group, was elected as the new director to fill the vacant position.
Chairman Ven. Jinseong of Budha expressed his sincere gratitude to the members who have enthusiastically supported the organization despite challenging circumstances.
