전북교육청 전주학생교육문화관(관장 김형대)은 재난 및 안전사고 대응 능력 향상을 위해 지난 1일 전주전일초등학교를 시작으로 본격적인 안전체험관 운영에 돌입했다.
체험 교육은 초등학교 3학년부터 중학생을 대상으로 하며, 오는 7월 중 하반기 교육 신청을 전주학생교육문화관 누리집(https://lib.jbe.go.kr/jec)에서 접수할 수 있다. 상시 유선 신청도 가능하다.
교육은 교육부의 ‘학교 안전교육 7대 표준안’을 기반으로 △응급처치 △지진대피 △화재대피 △완강기 탈출 △화재진압 등 5개 과정으로 구성되며, 실제 재난 상황을 가상 체험하는 시뮬레이션 영상 등을 통해 학생들의 안전의식과 대처 능력을 높이는 데 중점을 둔다.
김형대 관장은 “잦은 안전사고 발생에 따라 현장의 신속한 대응이 중요해졌다”며 “학생 눈높이에 맞춘 체험 중심 프로그램으로 실질적인 안전교육이 이뤄지도록 힘쓰겠다”고 밝혔다.
Jeonju Student Education and Culture Center to Operate Safety Education Centered on Experiential Learning for Students
The Jeonju Student Education and Culture Center of Jeonbuk Education Office (Director Kim Hyeong-dae) started full-scale operation of a safety experience center starting from Jeonil Elementary School in Jeonju on the 1st to enhance disaster and safety accident response capabilities.
The experiential education targets elementary school 3rd graders to middle school students, and applications for the second half of the year education in July can be submitted through the Jeonju Student Education and Culture Center's website (https://lib.jbe.go.kr/jec). Real-time telephone applications are also possible.
The education is based on the Ministry of Education's '7 Major Standards for School Safety Education' and consists of 5 courses including emergency treatment, earthquake evacuation, fire evacuation, escape from smoke, and fire suppression.
