전주문화재단(대표이사 최락기)이 문화체육관광부와 한국공예디자인문화진흥원이 주관하는 ‘2025 공예주간(Korea Craft Week 2025)’에 2년 연속 선정됐다.
이에 따라 재단은 전주지역 공예문화의 저변 확대와 시민 참여형 프로그램 확대를 위해 총력을 기울일 예정이다.
‘공예주간’은 ‘손으로 빚어내는 예술, 생활 속에서 피어나는 공예문화’를 주제로 매년 전국 단위에서 열리는 공예문화 축제다. 공예 전시, 체험, 마켓, 교육, 포럼 등 다채로운 행사를 통해 공예의 아름다움과 가치를 재조명하며, 올해는 5월 16일부터 25일까지 10일간 전국 각지에서 진행된다.
전주는 올해 ‘전주공예마을여정: 유람기’를 주제로, 전주만의 색을 입힌 6개 핵심 프로그램을 선보인다.
