전주문화재단(대표이사 최락기)과 전북대학교 무용학과(학과장 이나현)는 지난 22일 한국전통문화전당 4층 세미나실에서 지역 문화예술 생태계 활성화를 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다.
이날 협약식에는 최락기 전주문화재단 대표이사, 이나현 전북대학교 무용학과 학과장을 비롯한 양 기관 관계자들이 참석했으며, 양측은 지역 예술교육의 저변 확대와 문화복지 실현을 위한 협력을 약속했다.
양 기관은 이번 협약을 통해 ▲아동·청소년 대상의 무용예술교육 지원사업과 예술교육 인재 육성을 위한 사업 공동 기획 및 추진 ▲생애주기별 교육 및 도민 문화복지 실현을 위한 상호 협력 등 협의를 통해 협력이 필요하다고 인정되는 사항으로 협력해 나가기로 했다.
특히, 전주문화재단과 전북대학교 무용학과는 지난 3년간 국가 공모사업인 ‘꿈의 무용단 운영사업’을 공동 운영하며 긴밀한 협력관계를 구축해왔다. 이 과정에서 전주문화재단은 행정과 교육 공간을 제공하고, 전북대 무용학과는 교육과정 기획 및 교육 인력 지원을 담당하며 호흡을 맞춰왔다.
이번 협약을 계기로 양 기관은 어린이·청소년 발레단 ‘전주 프릭스!’의 지역 내 안정적 정착을 위한 자문위원회 구성 및 민·관·학 협력 모델 확산에도 적극 나설 방침이다.
최락기 전주문화재단 대표이사는 “예술교육 사업을 통해 추진된 이번 협약이 지역의 문화역량을 강화하고 문화예술 생태계를 활성화하는 계기가 되기를 바란다”며 “지역 내 오랜 파트너인 전북대학교와 밀도 높은 협력을 추진할 뿐만 아니라 새로운 협력과제를 지속적으로 발굴해나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
