전북작가회의(회장 유강희)가 오는 15일 오후 6시 30분 전주시 중화산동 전북작가회의 사무실에서 ‘시민들과 함께하는 문학산책’을 개최한다고 밝혔다.

김수예 시인의 사회로 진행되는 이번 ‘문학산책’에는 김근혜 작가·김소형 시인·주미라 작가를 초대해 문학과 삶에 대한 진솔한 이야기를 듣는다. 특히 이번 문학산책은 작품 낭독 및 작품 설명, 발제와 토론 등을 더해 작은 북콘서트 형태로 진행될 예정이다.

문학산책 작가로 초대된 김근혜 작가는 2012년 전북일보 신춘문예로 등단하여 「제롬랜드의 비밀」 등 다수의 책을 출간했다. 이번 문학산책에 초대된 작품 「들개들의 숲」은 동물 유기와 관련 된 장편 동화이다. 이 동화는 표면적으로 동물 유기에 관한 내용이지만 이면에는 인간 삶에 대한 상징성도 내재해 있다. 목줄을 통해 타인에게 억압당하는 삶을 살 것인지, 목줄을 벗어 던지고 자아를 찾아 세상 속으로 뛰어들 것인지의 이야기를 통해 자유에 대한 본질적 고민의 기회를 제공하는 작품이다.

전주 출신의 김소형 시인은 2021년 「애지」를 통해 등단하여 2025년 첫 시집 「너는 사각거리고」를 출간했다. 이번 문학산책에 초대된 시집 「너는 사각거리고」에 대해 황정산 문학평론가는 ‘김소형 시인은, 시를 통해 자신의 삶을 반성하고 또 거부해야 하는 힘든 갱생의 길이 얼마나 지난하고 괴로운 일인지 하지만 그러면서도 얼마나 아름다운 일인지를 잘 보여주었다’고 평했다. 이번 문학산책에서 시인은 이것과 저것 사이, 잡히지 않는 것들과 말할 수 없는 마음들을 헤아리며 썼던 시, 그 마음을 꺼내 보이겠다고 밝혔다. 나아가 말이나 글로는 잡히지 않는, 오로지 시로만 닿을 수 있는 어떤 것들에 대한 이야기를 시민들과 나누고 싶다고 말했다.

도서관과 학교에서 그림책 강의를 하는 주미라 작가는 《서정문학》 동시 부문 신인문학상을 수상했고 그림책 「상고머리」등을 출간했다. 이번 문학산책에 초대 된 동시집 「하늘을 날고 싶은 엉덩이」는 1부는 나, 2부는 친구, 3부는 가족, 4부는 자연의 이야기로 총 50편의 동시가 들어있다. 강아지처럼 발랄하고 참새처럼 귀엽고 구름처럼 예쁜 동시들을 모은 시집이다. 이번 문학산책에서 작가는 상처받은 마음을 보듬어주고 토닥토닥 다독여주는 동시, 읽으면 마음이 따스하고 포근해지는 동시, 현실 너머 아름다운 동화의 세계로 안내하는 동시에 대해 시민들과 이야기하고 싶다고 말했다.

전북작가회의 유강희 회장은 “이번 문학산책은 전북작가회의 새 사무실에서 열리는 첫 행사인 만큼 좋은 작가들을 모셨고, 준비도 많이 했다. 많은 시민들이 참석해 봄밤의 문학산책을 맘껏 즐기셨으면 좋겠다”고 밝혔다.

The Jeonbuk Writers' Conference (Chairman Yoo Kang-hee) announced that they will be holding a literary walk event titled 'Literary Walk with Citizens' on the 15th at 6:30 p.m. at the Jeonbuk Writers' Conference office in Jungwasan-dong, Jeonju.

This edition of the literary walk, led by poet Kim Soo-ye, will feature invited writers Kim Geun-hye, poet Kim So-hyung, and writer Joo Mi-ra sharing candid stories about literature and life. Particularly, this literary walk will include readings and explanations of works, presentations, and discussions, and will be conducted in the form of a small book concert.

Writer Kim Geun-hye, who has been invited as a writer for the literary walk, debuted in 2012 through the Jeonbuk Ilbo's New Spring Literary Contest and has published numerous books including "The Secret of Jerome Land." The work invited to this literary walk, "The Forest of Strays," is a long fairy tale related to animal abandonment. While the story superficially deals with animal abandonment, it also contains symbolism related to human life. Through the story of whether to live a life oppressed by others through a leash or to throw off the leash and find oneself by leaping into the world, the work provides an opportunity for fundamental contemplation on freedom.

Jeonju native poet Kim So-hyung debuted in 2021 with "Aeji" and published her first poetry collection, "You Stand in Squares," in 2025. Regarding the poetry collection "You Stand in Squares," invited to this literary walk, literary critic Hwang Jung-san commented, "Poet Kim So-hyung has shown through her poetry how difficult and painful the path of reflection and rejection of one's life through poetry is, yet how beautiful it can be." The poet expressed her intention to reveal her heart through poems that navigate between this and that, intangible things, and unspeakable emotions. She also mentioned her desire to share stories about things that can only be reached through poetry, not through words or prose, with the citizens.

Writer Joo Mi-ra, who gives picture book lectures at libraries and schools, won the New Literature Award in the poetry category of "Seojeong Literature" and has published picture books such as "High-Head." The poetry collection "Buttocks that Want to Fly in the Sky," invited to this literary walk, contains a total of 50 simultaneous poems divided into sections about oneself, friends, family, and nature. It is a collection of lively like a puppy, cute like a sparrow, and beautiful like a cloud. The writer expressed her desire to talk with citizens about simultaneous poems that comfort and soothe wounded hearts, make hearts warm and cozy when read, and guide to the world of beautiful fairy tales beyond reality.

Yoo Kang-hee, Chairman of the Jeonbuk Writers' Conference, stated, "As this literary walk is the first event held at the new office of the Jeonbuk Writers' Conference, we have invited excellent writers and made thorough preparations. I hope many citizens attend and enjoy the spring night's literary walk to their heart's content."
