전북현대모터스FC(단장 이도현, 이하 전북현대)의 파트너 클럽 PSV 아인트호벤 코치진이 방문했다.
전북현대가 유스팀 성장을 위한 유럽 선진 축구 교육의 일환으로 진행해 온 PSV 코치진 초청을 올해도 추진해 29일부터 내달 10일까지 스페셜 코칭을 실시한다.
올해는 코칭 대상을 유스팀에서 N팀까지 영역을 확대해 교육과 교류, 경험의 시간을 갖는다.
전북현대는 지난 2023년부터 PSV와 파트너십을 맺고 PSV의 코치진 한국 초청과 유스팀 선수 및 지도자의 네덜란드 현장 연수 등을 3년째 진행하고 있다.
이번에 방문하는 코치진은 에설 엘말리(Eser Elmali) 세트피스, GK 코치와 톰 반 덴 허크(Tom van den Hurk) 컨디셔닝 코치, 알렉상드르 사샤 리아스(Alexandre sacha Rilhas) 전술코치가 약 2주간 전북현대 유스팀과 N팀의 성장을 위해 힘쓸 계획이다.
PSV는 네덜란드 지난해에 이어 ‘24-25 시즌도 에레디비시(네덜란드 프로축구 1부리그) 우승을 이끈 유럽 내 최고 명문 클럽으로 선수 육성에도 손꼽히는 팀이다.
전북현대 유스팀은 오는 8월에는 PSV가 개최하는 ‘오텐 엘리트컵(Otten Elite Cup) 2025’에도 참가해 유수의 유럽팀들과 겨루며 국제 경험을 쌓을 예정이다.
대회 참가 외에 10월에는 유스팀 선수와 코치를 PSV 유스팀에 파견해 훈련, 지도 등을 직접 체험하며 배울 수 있는 해외 연수를 실시할 계획이다.
전북현대 이도현 단장은 “유스팀의 성장은 끊임없는 교육과 지속적인 지원이 성공의 관건이라 생각한다”며 “앞으로도 성과보다는 성장에 중점을 둔 전북현대만의 유스 육성 철학을 실현하기 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
PSV Eindhoven Invites Coaches, Exchange with Jeonbuk Hyundai Youth & N Team
The coaching staff of partner club PSV Eindhoven visited Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors FC (Chairman Lee Do-hyun, hereinafter Jeonbuk Hyundai).
