순창군의회(의장 손종석)가 6월 13일 제294회 제1차 정례회를 개회하고 18일간의 일정에 돌입했다.
이번 정례회에서는 예산결산특별위원회(위원장 신정이)를 구성해 2024회계연도 결산 및 예비비 지출 승인안, 2025년 제1차 공유재산관리계획 변경안을 심사하며, 2025년도 상반기 주요업무 추진상황 보고도 청취할 예정이다.
앞서 12일에는 제293회 임시회 폐회 중 상임위원회를 열어 의원발의 조례안·규칙안 6건과 순창군수가 제출한 조례안·동의안 15건을 본회의에서 의결했다.
손종석 의장은 개회사를 통해 “호국보훈의 달을 맞아 순국선열과 국가유공자들께 감사드린다”며 “군민의 생명과 안전을 지키는 행정을 당부드린다”고 밝혔다.
한편 이날 본회의에서는 최용수 의원이 ‘순창군 공공임대주택 정책 제안’ 주제로 5분 자유발언을 했으며, 군의회는 ‘345kV 남서권 개폐소 및 분기 송전선로 설치 반대 결의안’과 ‘지방의회법 제정 촉구 건의안’을 채택했다.

The Sangju County Council (Chairman Son Jong-seok) opened the 294th 1st regular session on June 13 and began a schedule that will last for 18 days.
During this regular session, a Budget Settlement Special Committee (Chairman Shin Jeong-i) was formed to review the final settlement and approval of the reserve fund expenditure for the 2024 fiscal year, as well as to examine the proposed changes to the 2025 1st half Shared Property Management Plan. On the same day, Councilor Choi Yong-soo made a 5-minute free speech on the topic of 'Proposal for Sangju County Public Rental Housing Policy' during the plenary session, and the council adopted resolutions opposing the '345kV Southwest Substation and Branch Transmission Line Installation' and urging for the 'Enactment of Local Council Act'.
