완주소방서(서장 이주상)는 9월 5일 봉동읍 봉동중앙교회에서 ‘2025년 하반기 첫 재난대비 실전형 긴급구조종합훈련’을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이번 훈련은 충남 금산군 인근에서 규모 6.3의 지진이 발생해 교회 건물 일부가 붕괴되고 화재가 발생한 상황을 가정한 것으로, 지진·화재·건물 붕괴·다수사상자 대응까지 포함한 종합 훈련이다.

특히 다중이용시설인 종교시설에서 처음 실시된 대규모 훈련으로, 교회 특유의 구조와 인파 밀집 상황을 반영해 더욱 현실적인 대응 절차를 점검했다는 점에서 의미가 크다.

훈련에는 완주소방서를 비롯해 전북119특수대응단, 완주군청, 경찰서, 군부대, 보건소, 원광대병원 등 총 197명과 장비 39대가 참여해 기관 간 협업체계를 실질적으로 점검했다.

훈련은 초기 화재 대응부터 다수사상자 응급처치, 붕괴 구조, 통합지휘회의, 복구까지 실제 재난 상황에 준하는 단계별 절차로 진행됐다.

이주상 서장은 “이번 훈련은 전북 하반기 첫 종합훈련이자 종교시설에서의 특별 사례로 의미가 깊다”며 “앞으로도 실전과 같은 훈련을 지속해 군민의 생명과 안전을 지키는 데 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Wanju Fire Station (Chief Lee Ju-sang) announced that they conducted the '2025 Second Half Realistic Emergency Rescue Comprehensive Training' at Bongdong Central Church in Bongdong-eup on September 5.

This training scenario assumed a situation where a magnitude 6.3 earthquake occurred near Geumsan-gun, Chungcheongnam-do, causing partial collapse of the church building and a fire outbreak, involving comprehensive training including earthquake, fire, building collapse, and response to multiple casualties.

This large-scale training, conducted for the first time in a multi-use facility such as a religious facility, is significant in that it checked more realistic response procedures reflecting the unique structure of the church and crowded situations.

A total of 197 personnel including Wanju Fire Station, Jeonbuk 119 Special Response Team, Wanju County Office, police station, military units, health center, Wonkwang University Hospital, and 39 pieces of equipment participated in the training, effectively checking the inter-organizational cooperation system.

The training progressed through step-by-step procedures matching actual disaster situations, from initial fire response to emergency treatment of multiple casualties, collapse structure, integrated command meetings, and recovery.

Chief Lee Ju-sang stated, "This training is the first comprehensive training in the second half of the year in Jeonbuk and a special case in a religious facility, which holds deep significance," and added, "We will continue to conduct realistic training like this in the future to do our best to protect the lives and safety of the people."
