전북현대모터스FC(단장 이도현, 이하 전북현대)가 4년 만의 챔피언 자리에 한 걸음 더 가까이 다가간다.

전북현대가 오는 20일 오후 4시 30분 전주월드컵경기장에서 김천 상무(이하 김천)와 K리그1 30라운드를 치른다.

리그 1위를 달리고 있는 전북현대는 현재 2위 김천과의 맞대결에서 승리 시 승점 69점을 확보하며 추격하는 2위권 팀들과 승점 격차를 더 벌릴 수 있다.

전북현대는 지난 8월 포항전 패배 이후 코리아컵을 포함해 3연승을 달리며 다시 한번 K리그1 우승을 향해 박차를 가하고 있다.

특히 K리그1에서 시즌 초반과 달리 최근 10경기에서 8승 2무, 80%의 압도적인 홈 승률을 보여 승리를 자신한다.

이날은 김제 ‘파트너 데이’로 김제시에서 홍보부스를 마련해 오는 10월 8일부터 12일까지 진행되는 ‘김제지평선축제’를 알리고 이와 함께 ‘김제지평선쌀’, ‘쌀 마스크팩’, ‘지평선축제 체험권’ 등을 팬들에게 선물한다.

이승기는 전북현대 소속으로 255경기(K리그 201경기, ACL 45경기, 코리아컵 9경기)에 출전하며 42득점 46도움을 기록하고 K리그 6회(2014, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021) 우승, 리그 5연패의 주역으로 활약하는 등 팀의 전성기를 이끌었다.

한편, 이날 경기 시작에 앞서 2025시즌 K리그1 2차(14~26라운드) ‘플러스 스타디움상’, ‘팬 프렌들리 클럽상’ 시상과 함께 8월 ‘이달의 골’을 수상한 이영재에게 트로피 전달식이 진행된다.
