전주시는 29일 청년이음전주에서 자원봉사자와 축제 관계자 등 70여 명이 참석한 가운데 ‘2025 전주비빔밥축제’ 비빔지기 발대식’을 가졌다.
이날 행사에는 심폐소생술 및 관람객 밀집도 방지를 위한 동선 유도 교육, 성인지교육, 장애인과 노약자를 위한 서비스 교육 등 축제 전반 숙지를 위한 교육과 친절 교육 등이 함께 진행됐다.
이와 관련 전주의 대표 음식축제인 전주비빔밥축제는 오는 10월 24일부터 26일까지 3일간 전주월드컵경기장 일원에서 진행될 예정이다.
올해 축제에서는 △20여 개의 전주의 다양한 맛집을 경험할 수 있는 ‘레트로비빔밥거리’ △비빔밥 요리사와 재료들의 퍼레이드인 ‘비빔밥 퍼레이드’ △하계올림픽 유치를 기원하는 ‘도전미니올림픽’ △전주비빔프렌즈 팝업스토어 △어린이와 관광객들을 위한 다양한 체험과 공연 등 20여 개의 풍성한 프로그램들이 행사장을 채울 예정이다.
노은영 전주시 문화체육관광국장은 “비빔지기들은 원활한 축제 운영을 책임지는 중요한 역할을 맡게 될 것”이라며 “깊어가는 가을밤 모두가 함께 전주비빔밥축제를 즐기며 추억을 만들 수 있도록 빈틈없는 사전교육을 통해 안전하고 즐거운 축제를 만들어가겠다”고 말했다.
