전북특별자치도는 추석 연휴를 맞아 학생들과 귀성객들을 위해 ‘부안 신재생에너지단지 테마체험관’을 정상 운영한다고 밝혔다.

테마체험관은 추석 당일을 제외한 연휴 기간 동안 운영되며, 첨단 신재생에너지 기술을 체험할 수 있는 다양한 프로그램으로 방문객들을 맞이할 계획이다.

부안 신재생에너지단지는 국내 최초로 테마체험단지와 실증연구 및 산업단지가 공존하는 복합단지로, 최근 체험관을 새롭게 단장하여 교육과 체험의 장으로서 프로그램을 한층 강화했다.

테마체험관은 1층부터 3층까지 스토리텔링 방식으로 구성된 에듀테인먼트 시설로, 방문객들이 직접 체험하며 학습할 수 있도록 설계됐다.

1층에서는 프리쇼 영상을 통해 블랙아웃(정전) 현상을 간접적으로 체험할 수 있는 프리쇼 영상이 제공되며, 2층에서는 8개의 재생에너지와 2개의 신에너지를 증강현실(AR) 및 다양한 게임을 통해 학습할 수 있는 공간이 마련됐다. 3층에서는 가상현실(VR)을 통해 스마트 그리드 미래도시를 체험할 수 있으며, 마지막으로 에너지 절약과 환경보호에 대한 체험자의 새로운 아이디어를 공유하는 프로그램도 준비 되어 있다.

테마체험관은 오전 9시 30분부터 시작해 마지막 입장 시간은 오후 4시 30분으로, 스토리 이해도와 만족도를 높이기 위해 시간별 예약제로 운영되어 사전예약이 필수다. 입장료는 성인 2,000원, 청소년·군인 1,500원, 어린이 1,000원이다.

또한, 단지 내 2023년 개관한 ‘새만금 메타버스 체험관’에서는 메타버스 기술 기반의 전시관(메타버스기술관, 메타버스라이프관, 가상세계홀)을 통해 최신 실감형 콘텐츠와 가상융합기술을 체험할 수 있다.

Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province announced that they will operate the "Buan Renewable Energy Complex Theme Experience Center" for students and holiday travelers during the Chuseok holiday.

The theme experience center will be open during the holiday period, excluding Chuseok day, offering various programs for visitors to experience advanced renewable energy technologies.

The Buan Renewable Energy Complex is a mixed complex where a theme experience center, demonstration research, and industrial complex coexist, making it the first of its kind in Korea. Recently, the center has been renovated to enhance its programs as an educational and experiential space.

The theme experience center is designed as an educational entertainment facility structured in a storytelling format from the 1st to the 3rd floor, allowing visitors to directly experience and learn.

On the 1st floor, visitors can indirectly experience a blackout phenomenon through a pre-show video. The 2nd floor features a space where visitors can learn about 8 renewable energies and 2 new energies through augmented reality (AR) and various games. On the 3rd floor, visitors can experience a smart grid future city through virtual reality (VR), and a program is also prepared for sharing new ideas from visitors about energy conservation and environmental protection.

The theme experience center opens at 9:30 a.m. and the last entry time is 4:30 p.m. To enhance the understanding and satisfaction of the storytelling, the center operates on a reservation basis by the hour, and advance booking is mandatory. The entrance fee is 2,000 won for adults, 1,500 won for teenagers and soldiers, and 1,000 won for children.

Moreover, at the "Saemangeum Metaverse Experience Center" opened within the complex in 2023, visitors can experience the latest immersive content and virtual fusion technology through an exhibition hall based on metaverse technology (Metaverse Technology Hall, Metaverse Life Hall, Virtual World Hall).
